ANAND DIGHE DEATH :
On the morning of August 25, 2001, Dighe was injured in a car accident and taken to Sunitidevi Singhania Hospital in Thane. The doctors performed surgery on him the following day, but he suffered two heart attacks later that evening and passed away around 10:30 pm.
